Costs and Earnings

How Much Can you Make?
By franchise law you have to make your own projections. We can send you a budget spreadsheet to help you do this and we can introduce you to our owners in the region so that you can learn what they earn in their Mr. Sandless business. But it isn’t that difficult. Taken from our 2016 Franchise Disclosure Document (Item 19), our average job for 2015 in the USA was $1,304 with a total cost of all materials and supplies used on that average job of just 6.6%. Taken from our 2016 Canadian Disclosure Document (Item 11), our average job in Canada for 2015 was $1,708 CAD with a total cost of all materials and supplies used on that average job of just 7%. See our disclosures for more information. How many jobs can you do? Typically working Monday through Friday you can service a job per day or around 22 jobs each month. Some owners work at their own pace and will service less than this and some owners send out multiple trucks each day and service more than this.

What do you need to Get Started?
Since we are a mobile business and take our service to our customers you will need a vehicle that can fit the equipment and supplies used in the service. Typically, it can be small as we originally started with Toyota Scions which are very small vehicles. You can use any vehicle to get started and eventually purchase a new one to use in your business. You will also need a contractor’s insurance policy. No need to worry here—we have a national broker who will shop for the lowest rate for your insurance with all the top providers. You will also need a business phone. Everything else that you need we give you!

How Much Does the Franchise Cost?
Mr. Sandless has always been and will remain a low cost franchise business to own! A five dollar sandwich shop franchise will cost you at least $117,000! How many sandwiches do you have to sell to make our single job average of $1,304? Our franchise fee is one of the lowest out there for a quality franchise. For that you get a large exclusive territory, full training, database, lead generation, tech support and so much more! That is a lot better than being stuck in a sandwich shop all day!
